On the occasion of the 2014 edition of the Bordeaux Wine Festival, Tonnellerie Nadalié is delighted to be the official partner of « Saveurs du Voyage » as supplier of the staves which are to be used to build a giant cask.
The cask will be erected on the Bordeaux quays during the festival and will be covered with corks from all over the world. It will be 9 meters high and it is estimated that no less than one million corks will be used. Application will be made for this work of art to enter the Guinness Book of Records in the category « The World’s Largest Cork Mosaic ».
The first part of the project was presented to the public on 14th February and was greeted with great enthusiasm by the Bordeaux population.
